Lately, we’ve been inundated with questions about whether you can join our Newport Mesa New Mom School “mommy and me” classes after you baby has already been born. In short, the answer is YES, Of COURSE! But we thought we’d explain in a little more detail, in case you’ve found yourself wondering the same thing.

Why do you recommend registering while pregnant?

Registering while you are pregnant secures your space in the optimal class for your baby’s birthdate. It allows us to place you with other moms whose babies are closest in age to yours, usually within 2-4 weeks of each other. (This is the magic part!) It’s also risk free. We’ll refund your registration fee if plans change and you’re unable to participate in classes. Registering while pregnant saves you $50, too!

Can I wait until after my baby is born and see how I’m feeling, before registering?

You can. It’s just that the downside of waiting until after your baby is born is that you might miss out on a place in class. Our Newborn Class Series regularly sells out, so registering while pregnant is the only way to guarantee your spot. Think of it as your insurance policy to ensure you have the best possible postpartum experience.

My baby is 6-8 weeks old. Is it too late to join New Mom School?

Absolutely not! You might have missed our Newborn Class, but there’s still plenty of time to register for our Infant Class Series, which is designed for babies 3 – 6 months old.

Where can I see dates for upcoming classes at New Mom School?

On our Class Schedule page you can see all the upcoming start dates for every class we offer. That includes our Newborn Class, Infant Class, Second Time Mom Class and Playgroups.
